Please stay tuned to any special arrangements on bad weather which will be announced through this website, Instagram and Facebook.

Before the event

If at 7:00a.m. on the event day, Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning or above is hoisted, the event will be cancelled. If the event is cancelled due to the above mentioned signals, there will be no rescheduling of the event. 

During the event

If Signal No.8 or Black Rainstorm Warning or above is hoisted during the event, participants are advised to stay at a safe place until the weather and traffic conditions have improved.

Please be reminded to check the weather forecast prior to coming to the event.

STEAM Day is open to General Public on 23-24 January 2027 (Saturday and Sunday).

Due to limited capacity, workshops and lab visits are available only to registered Schools and Community Groups. Members of the General Public are welcome to participate in selected activities.

Due to limited parking spaces on campus, HKUST is unable to provide free parking for General Public (individual visitors).

Visitors are encouraged to travel to HKUST by public transportation.
